# Can we create tables through meta api v2?

I use this command to retrieve openapi.json for nocodb\_openapi\_meta, can we use this api to create tables on nocodb? The META APIS says that there is a function to create tables but I can’t find it in the autogenerated crate, or the openapi.json file.

Please use [API v3](https://nocodb.com/apis/v3/meta)

The meta APIs are not available specific to a base and the generic link above will be more than sufficient.
