# Community edition whereabouts

New to noco and just finding my way around a bit.

Where is the community edition? Is it a downloadable?..which then has to sit in Docker or something?

I’ve seen a page comparing its features to the Enterprise edition…I just can’t find the community edition itself!

How do I get it, from where?

\* FYI - I’m part of a research team working and gathering data in remote tropical rainforest regions where there’s no internet, hence looking for a self-hosted d/b. It would be nice if it automatically updated a cloud mirror when back in civvy, but that might be too much to ask!

We only ship one docker which has both ce and paid edition as we cant manage two pipelines. However, nothing stops you from using CE where there is no-internet.
