## Hey,

#### I am new to nocodb and evaluating it currently as an Airtable replacement.

#### Unfortunately, my first tests on Heroku were not super successful. Here is my main issue:

#### 1. After importing an Excel, I could not change the field type from SingleLineText to Number, it says “Update table failed”.

#### thanks will try this. Is excel import different in terms of DB structure compared to a table I create in the frontend?

#### It is similar. We try predicting the column types based on the values using an underlying lib. This is not 100% foolproof
