## Hi i am trying to use nested fields child record to display other than the primary but i just get empty return. I am trying to use nested[Equipment][fields]=Key with api call [https://nocodb.app.maranics.com/api/v1/db/data/v1/event/event](https://nocodb.app.maranics.com/api/v1/db/data/v1/event/event). Any idea what i am doing wrong

#### If you have a link established between table-a, table-b. And if you want to read a field belonging to table-b from table-a, you will have to add a lookup for that field in table-a.

#### i was trying to use this [REST APIs](https://docs.nocodb.com/developer-resources/rest-apis#nested-childrenhas-many). Where i thought it was possible to select what fields should be return from the child?
