# Search in gallery view is not working

I’ve uploaded the famous titanic dataset to experiment with NocoDB. I’ve created a gallery view for my data, but when I search a specific name in this view, I’m getting not the right result. What can I do?

Thanks for reporting the issue!

As a workaround, you can use the Filter feature in the toolbar instead:  
[Filtering records | NocoDB](https://docs.nocodb.com/table-operations/filter)

This lets you precisely filter records based on specific fields and values.
