# Supabase db connection error

Hi, I’m trying to connect to a DB on [supabase.com](http://supabase.com). I’ve used the ‘use connection URL’ link which populated the most of the fields and when i added the login creds, i keep getting this error:

getaddrinfo: enotfound

I tried to debug using AI and I think it might be something to do with suapbase using IP v6.

Can anyone help? Thanks

I managed to solve this…

So for anyone else who has the problem, you need to use the aws address, which you can find by clicking ‘Connect’ at the top of the UI in supabase and then click the ORM tab.

The address will look something like this:  
[aws-0-us-east-1.pooler.supabase.com](http://aws-0-us-east-1.pooler.supabase.com)
