Using the rating field dynamically

Hi there! I’ve got a movie database with a row containing ratings with one decimal place. I’d like to have a visual representation of that number and thought the ratings field would be great for that. Is there a way to not set the rating field manually, but automatically containing the value of that numerical field?

You can use formula field to display Rating number & apply appropriate formatting. Works fine for number field. Decimal field, precision is ignored. 4.9 will be treated as 4.
