My mistake… “Add-ons” is there, it’s a section, not a clickable element; looks just like yours.

:raising_hand_man: wkw replied

you can click the name to navigate to the detail page

Siteground has made a recommendation… although using a wildcard % within a partial hostname (eg. ec2-%.compute-1.amazonaws.com) is invalid, you can use a total wildcard of % … so, allow remote connections from ANY host.

:raising_hand_man: robertandrews replied

Yep. So, sorry, what are you suggesting I do at that point, in the postgres page?

:raising_hand_man: wkw replied

actually im still confused why Siteground would check ec-2-xxxxxxxxxxx.computer-1.amazonaws.com

:raising_hand_man: wkw replied

or ec-2-xxxxxxxxxxx.computer-1.amazonaws.com s the heroku instance itself

:raising_hand_man: wkw replied

but if it s the instance itself, then the host should be <APP_NAME>.herokuapp.com

:raising_hand_man: robertandrews replied

Yeah, wish I knew - I’m new to Heroku.

It’s not “why Siteground would check ec-2-xxxxxxxxxxx.computer-1.amazonaws.com” … it’s “why is my Heroku app connecting via AWS?”

:raising_hand_man: wkw replied

heroku s based on aws

:raising_hand_man: robertandrews replied

I see.
