Notation on relations is confusing

The notation used in relation diagrams:
“[Table Name] Field Name - one to many - Field Name [Table Name]”
is confusing, because the relation is expressed in terms of the table but the field names are closest on either side of the relation.

Consider a different notation to better distinguish between the table and field name, and more obviously state the relation between tables.

Example: Tables “Items” and “Subitems” with a field Items.Subitems 1:many with Subitems is currently displayed as:

[Items] Subitems - has many - Items [Subitems]

This reads as Subitems has maniy Items, which is incorrect. Consider instead:

Items (Subitems) - has many - Subitems (Items).

Its Table (field)Table (field)

In my case, for relation between Country & City, please see attached screenshot

are you referring to this? we will check it out.
