If you connect to an external database on a Cloud plan, does it have the same limits as the hosted db? I.e. 300k rows/workspace on Business?
Nope, that will be your OWN database so it will have no limits. Some of the cloud customers have millions of records already.
As mentioned, the billing for the external database will come under the business plan ($99 - to be confirmed after free technical preview) and external DB API traffic will be metered.
Also thank you for making the video on us although we were not quite ready for it yet as we are in technical preview at the moment! However, we value your feedback. And have to mention the nocodb growth chapter is not pretty inline (and you did mention about us reaching out to you - happy to collaborate). We have close to ~11M docker downloads and we are amongst the fastest growing open source. The closest is even 20 times small usage!
