I think it is a sad decision to make for the users who were here from the beginning, gave feedback at Discord, etc.
I may understand new users will see the new plans and pay without realizing about the difference, but it’s sad I cannot use the features that made me start using and recommending NocoDB in first place. I literally recomended NocoDB to others because of free features that are now Pro.
I chose NocoDB because of its nice UI, and because it was Free and Open Source.
The fact that we are not even informed about these Free features becoming Pro is not super good either. I started a project to list resources for a specific community in the Internet and just today I found I cannot add more entries.
Sadly, I am afraid the limitations are becoming too many, and too frustrating. Some of them are very basic but you made them Pro because you have to justify Pro being worth paying, while there are other softwares with reasonable Freemium plans who had them for Free.
I get developers must be paid for their contributions, but I would have appreciated more transparency and care for the early adopters…
Anyway, I will export my databases and move to other software. Thanks.
